Bob & Caralan Dams have been breeding Collies for over 20 years. Our Collies are a huge part of our lives, living in the home with us, often taking more than their share of the couch or our bed. There is great pleasure and satisfaction in seeing our puppies placed in loving homes, and we keep in touch with many of our puppy parents. Our focus has always been on breeding sound, healthy Collies with the wonderful, loyal disposition they are renowned for.
Over the past few years we have been very fortunate to have met Simon and Earl of Windsong Collies. What outstanding work they are doing with this breed. We feel very fortunate to be learning from them, and to own dogs bred by them!
One of our most re-knowned offspring was a wonderful collie named Nellie. Nellie and her owner have touched many lives with the therapy that they provide. See the Photo Gallery for pictures of Nellie in action.
It is why we love breeding so much. To place our furbabies in wonderful homes and see the joy and happiness they bring is unbelieveable.

Our Current Collies are Holly and Maggie.
We remember fondly Oakley, Willow and Mahogany and Ebony who we miss dearly! They were a huge part of our family for many years.
Holly comes to us from Windsong Kennels and is a Canadian Championship.
She is now 6 years old, is outgoing, intelligent, loyal and great with children.

Magnolia, or Maggie comes to us from Georgia, Whitehall Collies. She is a gentle, intelligent loving collie. She does remind us so much of Mahongany.
We are very excited about our litter this year. Magnolia (Whitehall A Magnolia Blooms at Forestree) was bred to Albert (Sylvan Argent Windsong Balmoral) in May. We welcomed a healthy litter of 4 pups on July 12th, 2024 !
Maggie has shown us what a great first time Mom she is.
We a have Tri female and 1 sable female. There are also 2 sable males available to Companion or Show Homes.

Collies are sensitive and intelligent dogs, known for undying loyalty and the amazing ability to foresee their owners’ needs. They’re highly affectionate with their families, but that sensitivity means they don’t care much for being left alone for long hours of the day. Give them lots of love and companionship, and they’ll give it back tenfold to all members of their pack, including kids.
